California Law Enforcement LGBT Awareness Training Conference

This conference will feature three days of workshops for members of California law enforcement on a variety of LGBTQ topics. The tentative schedule includes:
DAY 1 – How To Create An Inclusive Workplace For LGBTQ Employees and Hate Crimes Update and how to use the Shepard-Byrd Hate Crimes Prevention Act.
DAY 2 – LGBT Awareness Training For Trainers including examples of model programs from around the state.
DAY 3 – How To Create An LGBT Liaison Program featuring model programs from around the nation.
This conference is certified by California POST under Plan IV. Participants can earn 20 hours of CPT credit.
